Audio Reactive Installation
What you're seeing isn't pre-rendered. Every shape, every spike, every pulse is generated in real time, driven entirely by the music. This installation was built around Kes's Cocoa Tea, a track whose soca rhythms and layered instrumentation demanded something that could keep up — something alive. The visual language draws from geometry and kaleidoscopic symmetry, the kind of patterns that appear in nature, in architecture, in the mathematics underlying sound itself.
Under the hood, a custom audio analysis engine dissects the track frequency by frequency: bass triggers the beat flash and particle bursts, mid-range shapes the geometry, and the higher frequencies sharpen every edge and multiply every mirror. The result is a system that interprets music. This is what we build: bespoke digital installations where sound, code, and design collapse into a single living thing.
WAVR is a real-time music visualiser that lives entirely in your browser . No app to download, no account to create, no data going anywhere but your screen.
The idea is simple: music is invisible energy. Frequencies, amplitudes, transients; all this rich information is buried inside every song you've ever heard, and most of the time you just... hear it. WAVR makes it visible. You drop a track, hit play, and watch the audio unfold as geometry. When you load a song, a mathematical process occurs that breaks a complex sound signal into its individual frequency components, hundreds of times per second. Bass frequencies on the left, treble on the right, everything in between mapped across the spectrum. That data stream is what drives the visuals.
Four color themes, Lime, Red, Blue, Amber, shift the whole palette so you can match the mood of what you're listening to. The live stats panel reads out bass, mids, highs, and peak values in real time, so you can actually see the numbers behind the visuals as the song moves. Nothing is uploaded. Nothing is stored. The audio file stays on your machine, processed entirely by your own browser. It works on any modern device, embeds cleanly into any website, and runs the moment you drop a file on it.
Music has always been something you feel. WAVR gives you something to watch.
